The Rundown: Collar and Rake continue their plan to move up in the world while their humans begin to question their fortune.

Collar and Rake’s relationship takes center stage as her plans for the future of hell are revealed and he is on board with them and her. Back in the present, they proceed with the next part of their plan and what it will mean for them as they return to Earth and their human charges. As Starr questions whether listening to a devil is a good idea despite the success she’s received, Cameron still refuses to believe in devils even when Collar warns him against something that could cause him serious harm.
As the two devils’ plans take another positive turn for them, things become complicated when their supervisor decides that this is the perfect time for a surprise inspection of their progress. An inspection that could throw a serious wrench in their plans for the future of hell.
The Story: Soule continues to craft a fun, funny and interesting story in this issue. I continue to be impressed by how intricate and interesting all of the characters are and how complicated both them and their motivations are. The story has some interesting surprises throughout it and I look forward to seeing what complications arise for both the devils and their humans.
The Art: Browne delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are brilliantly detailed and feature great imagery that consistently surprises.
